1st International Forum "Karate and Society" and 1st World Masters Cup. Russia, Moscow, August 13-18, 2025.
The World Forum is a tribute to the mentor and attention to his role in society. He will unite in Moscow both masters who have completed performances in different years, and current members of the national teams of their countries who have chosen the path of a mentor.
Only teachers and instructors (holders of master's degrees), whose activities are dedicated to working with children and youth, will meet on the tatami in different age groups and disciplines - such an event is unique as it is being held in the world for the first time.

Idea
The idea of the World Cup among Masters is to unite the mentors of the world through the philosophy of Kyokushin karate, under the motto "Friendship without boundaries". The cup will expand international contacts, strengthen friendly connections, create opportunities for demonstrating karate skills and regular meetings. The event will be held with respect to the memory of the founder of Kyokushin karate – Master Oyama Masutatsu.
The proposal for a large-scale event in Moscow with master classes by the best masters and an exchange of experience between teachers and coaches, with consideration of issues of developing karate as a system of educating young people that goes beyond the borders of countries, was supported by representatives of 29 BRICS member states, the Asia-Pacific region, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
![The Forum will be hosted by the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia [RUDN]. The alma mater of students from 160 countries will provide a modern conference hall and simultaneous translation, ensuring the appropriate level for the international event. All participants will receive a special magazine with the Forum materials, published in two languages. In a difficult time for amateur sports, Russia is the initiator of an international event, holding it at the intersection of mass sports and education, setting an example of people's and sports diplomacy.
The Forum initiated a new international project - "Cities of Sports Brotherhood" and within the framework of this project the first agreement will be signed at the site (to be announced at the general session). According to the plan, having become a good tradition, this project will create additional opportunities for the development of karate in the world. In addition, at the opening of the Forum, another important agreement for the development of international projects will be signed on cooperation between the organizers of the Forum and the Cup - "Russian Kyokushin Karate Union" and International public and business center "House of BRICS".

The event will be held with the support of the “Open Kyokushin Alliance” – the associative community unites nine All-Russian organizations and 11 representative offices of international organizations working in the field of Kyokushin karate. The Alliance advocates the creation of equal conditions for the self-realization of Russian children and youth in mass sports.

In the form of competitive activity kyokushin karate in the disciplines "kumite", "kata", "tameshivari", "Bunkai", "Iken-hisatsu Kumite" participants are offered 45 categories divided by age from 18 to 70 years, weight and gender.
The rules of the competition are identical to the rules of many karate directions: kyokushin union, kyokushin profi, WKO, shinkyokushin, so-kyokushin, zen-kyokushin, kyokushin kenbukai, kyokushinRyu, and many others.
